3 star on food cause I didn't eat here. But the shop keep was very attentive. She greeted us as we walked in, told us some of the history of the place, and checked in with us twice as we wandered about. I didn't buy anything on that trip but you'd better bet that I will next time! All the antique and silly themed jars, shakers, and glasses are too amazing to pass up.

Did you know this place has the world record for the most cookie jars? This place has delicious ice cream and It's more than reasonably priced. I'd say it's better than cold stone creamery. Just be careful if you have small children there's a lot of things you can break in here.

The best damn ice cream in the world! And the waffle cones are homemade fresh right there, and they have a lil secret surprise of love in the bottom ;) It’s also fascinating to admire all the cookie jars. I’ve been going for years and still find new cookie jars! I’ve been visiting them for over 20 years when they were in another building even and still, the smell of them fresh cones takes me back to the first time as a lil girl holding my momma and daddy’s hands. You can’t go to Metamora and not go here!

Really cool just to go look around. The ice cream is tasty and very good priced. The staff, as with pretty much the whole town, was super nice. I look forward to seeing them again.

I absolutely love Grannies Cookie Jar. They have amazing staff and delicious ice cream. They also have homemade waffle cones. They have a large variety of cookie jars. This place is a must-see.

I live in north carolina but I'll be back this place is amazing. Best ice cream hands down and homade waffle cones we got them fresh. Soooo good my girls loved them and the store is simple amazing. If you haven't visited this place your missing out

Have never seen so many cookie jars and salt & pepper shakers. Had an ice cream cone in a home made waffle cone. Was delicious!
